Pest Control Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting pest inspections, applying treatments, and ensuring our customers’ needs are met with professionalism and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Good driving record and ability to pass a background check
- Ability to safely access crawl spaces
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Preferably possess an active pest control license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive training to become proficient in pest control procedures and practices.
- Follow a designated route schedule in a timely manner, ensuring all appointments are met.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain it in good working condition.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their pest control needs and concerns.
- Serve as a problem solver, identifying and implementing effective pest management solutions.
- Complete all required service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize company-provided cellphones and apps to optimize routes, communicate with the office, and update customers on service progress.
